The shofar is sounding. Are you listening?
Throughout Scripture, the sound of the shofar was never random. It announced God's presence, sounded the alarm, called God's people to repentance, proclaimed freedom, gathered the people for battle, and announced the establishment of kings.
And there is still a sound for this season.
As we enter Tishrei and approach the Feast of Trumpets, the shofar confronts us with a question: Are we awake? Are we listening? Are we ready for the King?
The final trumpet will sound. Jesus is coming back.
But until that day, we have a voice. We have a testimony. We have something to proclaim.
This episode is an invitation to wake up, return to your first love, stand firm in the battle, and remember that the King is coming.
The shofar is sounding.
